Small World

So, there I was bicycling down the streets of Brisbane in the evening rush hour.  Ahead of me I saw another bicyclist; he was wearing a vest similar to the one I had bought for my friend MG on a recent trip to the UK.  So, I caught up to him at the next light, and asked him where he had bought the vest, thinking it would give me a great excuse to visit a local bicycle store.  It turns out he bought his vest the same place I bought mine — Evans Cycles, in London (http://www.evanscycles.com).  So, no new vest for me, but we did have a pleasant conversation, interspersed at the next few lights, about bicycling in Brisbane, the local bicycle advocacy organization — CBDBUG (Central Business District Bicycle Users Group), my Bike Friday, and his plans to buy a Bike Friday for a vacation in Europe next summer.
